In January 2023, together with my dear friend Sina, I set out to build LeraLink — an ambitious idea for a multilingual, AI-enhanced knowledge platform.
The vision was to create a new ontology of learning, designed from the ground up on an atomic model: the smallest meaningful “Pieces” of knowledge that could be combined into powerful, personalized learning experiences.
When we began, I felt like I had stepped into an immense building — the world of startups — without knowing the architecture, the corridors, or even the language. I didn’t just have to work on LeraLink; I had to learn the building itself.
Over time, the project grew in scope and complexity. We explored product design, technical infrastructure, UX for multilingual users, the realities of fundraising, and the unique demands of building for education at a global scale. Along the way, I gained more than just technical and operational knowledge — I gained a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem, its challenges, and its culture.
